Deka has a strong and diverse population of antelope and the area has long been famous for producing exceptional sable and waterbuck. In addition, kudu, zebra, impala and warthog are in abundance. The less common species such as klipspringer, reedbuck, eland and giraffe are also easily harvested and as an area to do an all round hunt without having to move concessions, there can be few areas in Africa to compare with Deka.
